Build With Arduino

Your teenager designs and builds a robot to solve a problem they chose themselves: motors and sensors controlled from Python, with 3D-printed parts where the kit ends. The course closes with a working prototype they present and explain.

Who this is for: Teenagers aged 14 to 17 who want to build something that is theirs.

Where your teenager is after 3 months

That is 12 lessons of 2 h of class, 1 lesson of 2 hours per week, over 3 months, across 3 months. By the end, your teenager will be able to:

  • Work through 8 guided projects covering inputs, outputs and serial communication
  • Tell digital from analog in practice, and drive motors from your own code
  • Design and build one machine of your own to finish the course

At our studio in Tangier, hands on the hardware. Robotics is not a course that works from a screen at home.

The kit
Provided in class. The kit belongs to the studio and is reused each term, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to carry home. The price covers its use.

Robotics at Codemia is one ladder from 8 to 18, and this course is a rung on it. If your teenager is outside the 14 to 17 range, the right course is the one beside it.
